Welcome...

By Chris Whyte ICBTI,EFTCC, Complementary Therapy Practitioner.

There are many ways in which Complementary Therapies can help you. You can take advantage of these if you wish to stop smoking or drinking or if you wish to loose weight or get fitter. You can also use these therapies to overcome fears such as public speaking, socializing, spiders etc., but they are also very effective in reducing anxiety, anger, bitterness and even general nervousness. These Therapies can assist with Self Esteem and Confidence issues.

Using a combination of Therapies, we can address the underlying issues that may be causing a variety of personal problems, some of which have already been mentioned.

Pain management, through the use of EFT, Self-Hypnosis and Touch Therapy.  Pain should never be removed completely using this method as pain is essential for recognising serious illnesses, however, it can be managed and can help reduce pain in conjunction with any medical treatment or investigations.

Child behaviour problems can be addressed in teenagers led by the practitioner over a few consultations.  In the case of younger children the parent can be shown methods to reduce and defuse the emotions that both they and the child may be feeling, whether this be anger, hyper activity, heightened emotion or fears.

There is no limit to the possibilities of the Therapies that are available today.

Nervous System

You feel the beads of sweat break out on your forehead, you sure that anyone close by will hear your heart beating a mile a minute, and you'll wonder who released 100 fluttering butterflies in your stomach. Believe it or not, this is your bodies normal response to an anxiety- provoking situation such as a job interview or a public speaking engagement. This type of anxiety serves as an 'alarm' to let your body know that it is time to rally its forces to be sharp for the demanding task at hand. But for about one in nine people, the normal anxiety, reaction becomes an all too common false alarm, and the body is propelled into anxiety-mode in all sorts of situations, or perhaps without any trigger whatsoever. This type of chronic anxiety can be helped with the aid of herbs ,vitamins and learning to relax.  It can also be helped by using other forms of Complementary Therapies such as EFT, Reiki, Hypnosis and many more.
